Sustainable Development Goals

According to the Mission Statement of the Division for Sustainable Development Goals (DSDG), the Division for Sustainable Development Goals (DSDG) under the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA), as the Secretariat for the SDGs, provides substantive support and capacity-building for the goals and their related thematic issues, including water, energy, climate, oceans, urbanization, transport, science and technology, the Global Sustainable Development Report (GSDR), partnerships, and the situation of Small Island Developing States.

Our work aligns with SDG 3 and SDG 4:

Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.
Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
