Hong Kong Intermodal Expressive Arts Professional Certificate (One-Year)
This course focuses on Intermodal Decentering (IDEC®), a foundational process in phenomenological expressive arts therapy, and explores theories from other schools and systems (Person-centered / Expressive Therapy Continuum). It emphasizes exploring and experiencing diverse art forms (including visual arts, music, dance, drama, and creative writing), learning the psychological benefits and techniques of each art form. During the course, participants will connect with their inner worlds and lives, respond creatively to the world that shapes us, and draw on their own resources for self-inspiration. This series aims to train individuals interested in the field of expressive arts therapy, learning how to apply elements of expressive arts in their daily lives and in professional settings.
