1. 探索舞動如何作為普及化的創造動力及人類靈魂語言;
2. 體驗身體如何結連身心靈各個層面;
The two-day workshop will introduce The Tamalpa Life/Art process, an approach that enlivens dialogue between body and imagination, life experiences and art making. Using the 5 senses, movement/dance, drawing, poetic writing, and improvisational performance, participants will tap into art’s symbolic language to explore current life themes and generate new resources. All levels of movement and art making welcome!
Aims of the workshop:
- To explore movement/dance as a universal creative force and primary language of the soul;
- To experience the body as the place of connectivity for our physical, emotional, mental/imaginative and spiritual levels of self.
- To discover how movement evokes feeling and thinking states and leads to the discovery of new resources for artistic choice, change and personal growth.

1. 從動作中表達未能言說的感官經驗;
2. 將身體動作經驗透過圖像、詩詞、媒材創作形成象徵;

Feature Lecture: The Tamalpa Experience: Moving Dialogues Between Life & Art
This lecture takes the audience on a journey through the history of US national living art treasure Anna Halprin and daughter Daria Halprin’s pioneering contributions to the development of movement-based expressive arts therapy and education. Brilliant dancer, rebel, social activist and healer, Anna is known as the grandmother of post modern dance. While her work challenged the status quo in North America’s 1960’s and 70’s, daughter Daria Halprin – performance artist, dancer, poet, writer, and revered psychotherapist – provided the structure and theory that shaped the Life/Art Process. Together in 1978 Anna and Daria founded The Tamalpa Institute, one of the earliest training centres for movement-based expressive arts therapy and education in the world. The lecture includes a slide show and delves into the theory and practice of the Life/Art Process providing a theoretical debriefing for participants of the earlier experiential workshops.
